Beautiful riding day in the mid 70s. The past two days we climbed and today was our reward. The descent out of Jacumba to the Yuba desert was nearly 10.6 miles. This was the most amazing downhill ride I have ever experienced 🚴🚴
After the long downhill we entered the Yuba desert. At one point we cycled along nearly 7 miles of solar panels.
This was our SAG Stop in the Yuba desert. Very mellow and relaxing out in the middle of nowhere.
At the end of the ride many of the coasters stopped at the Asadero Neighborhood Resturant for some excellent Mexican food.
We ended the day having a wonderful dinner prepared by the Calexico Adventist Mission Academy students. Bubba was the master of ceremonies with each student talking about what they wanted to do after graduating. Very special evening!
