Day 7 - Gila Bend to Casa Grande

Challenging 87 mile ride.  Mid 50s at dawn and mid 80s at the completion of the ride.  Beautiful early morning ride through the Sonoran Desert.

Hard to beat this road and view cycling in the Sonoran Desert this morning.

This photo was snapped of the sun rising over the mountains in the Sonoran desert.

Bubba found another way to slow down the fastest riders today like Gary and Henry.  They had half hour wait in the construction zone and finished at 1:00 instead of 12:30.

This is a rather interesting sign in the mens restroom. Inspiration comes from many places. To paraphrase Simon & Garfunkel, the words of the prophets are written on the bathroom wall 😉

  1. Did you pass Wickenburg already? Just remember it had a tribute to a big Indian massacre. Temps look great. Keep riding strong
