Day 28 - Kerrville to Blanco

The day started with a beautiful sunrise and amazing ride through Texas Hill Country with 2,429 feet of big rolling hills and included several great stops we will highlight below.   These were the best two back to back days on the trip so far.

View from our campground before breakfast.

The first SAG stop was at the nicest coffee shop and bakery so far on our ride.  Do not miss this stop in Comfort, Texas.

Sisters Creek Vineyards was our lunch stop. After lunch Adrian & Henry each sampled a selection of their wines and picked up several cabs which were taken back to camp.

Beautiful setting on the Gaudalupe River.  It took 1,600 miles of cycling until we found scenery that resembles the rolling hills of SW Wisconsin.

Texas Hill Country.  check out the second roller in the distance.  Most of the rollers today occurrerd after lunch and our wine sampling.

Adrian & Henry celebrated a great day of cycling at Real Ale Brewery & Distillery. This is a very nice place and we highly recommend it to future coasters when you visit Blanco, Texas.
