Day 25 - Bracketville to Concan

Wet 74 mile ride from Bracketville to Concan.  2,600 feet of climbing. The great news is we exited highway 90 at mile 42 and headed north the final 32 miles.  We entered Texas Hill country with lush rolling countryside.  What a change after leaving the West Texas desert two days ago.

Unless you're the lead dog of the roadrunners the view never changes and you get dirty. Guess who was the lead dog?  It's Gary again 🚴

Mile 42 rear view..

Check out this sign in Uvalde, Texas. Dangerous combination.  But then add in the Texas lottery sign below with winners wanted and a garbage can below for good measure. Oh my....

Henry snapped this photo of Adrian taking a photo of the guns and liquor sign.  Love the the name Bottle'nBag. Perfect for driving around Texas with a gun.

Texas hill Country.  Reminds Henry and Adrian of Southwest Wisconsin.

Meet Bobby from Athens, Georgia, one of the strongest riders on the tour who is wearing the G logo.  The logo that started as Green Bay over time has become well known in the south as the Georgia logo.  Bobby says how about them DAWGS.

  1. Guns and Liquor, I used to purchase both at a sporting goods store in Galveston that had great ammo prices. One stop shopping.
