Beautiful 72 mile ride through the Rio Grande Valley this morning that ended in Van Horn, Texas. Today we crossed five (5) C2C firsts or milestones.
1. Cycled 1,000+miles since leaving San Diego.
2. 1/3 complete on Coast 2 Coast journey.
3. Entered the CST zone.
4. Last day cycling on the Interstate highway system.
5. First day of Spring.
West Texas countryside.
1,900 feet of climbing today.
Last day on the Interstate for C2C. They drive fast in Texas.
10 miles to Van Horn. It will take awhile to get across Texas 🚴
Henry and Adrian arrived at the Super 8 in Van Horn to find Bubba's Pampered Zone alteady set up in the the back parking lot. We enjoyed the beverages and snacks and have great a deal of appreciation for the Wolfpack and Bubba.
