Our 75 mile ride was amazing leaving Columbus, New Mexico at sunrise with a tail wind that grew stronger as we rode towards El Paso. We have been on Route 9 for two days and it is one of the most lonely and inspiring roads across New Mexico. It truely gives you the chance to appreciate the broad expanse of openness and nothingness along the border with Mexico.
