Day 11 - East Tuscon to Tombstone

Up early before sunrise because it was going to be a long day with 73.3 miles and 3,812 feet of climbing.

We had beautiful weather in the mid 80s with a 25 mile climb at the start followed by long decents through the desert in the afternoon.

Adrian being silly with John a fellow coaster on the long climb in the morning.

Here are a few photos of the 25 mile climb.

Ended our ride in Tombstone today which is famous for two things, Wyatt Erp and his shootout at the OK Corral.

...and the Tombstone Brewing Company. Great selection of craft beers, including an amazing DIPA.

  1. Have you guys started wearing your cowboy hats yet? Trip looks good from here. How’s the chamie butter holding out? Keep having memories

    1. I just cannot see Henry in a cowboy hat. Things are going well on the saddle. We came prepared with Chamois Buttr, DZ Nuts pro, AO Smooth Ride & Bourdeaux.
